Who Is A Big Shot?

I absolutely love my Big Shot!  So, in playing for this week's challenge ~ which was to create something using the Big Shot ~ I decided to have a go at making a "quilt card" since I have not tried one yet.  It really was fun and easy!

This quilt card uses the Top Note die.  Who would have thought you could do so much with the Top Note die?!?  I love this die!  In looking at the picture of my card on the screen as I write, I guess I didn't exactly center the die before it went through the Big Shot.....hmmmm....we will ignore that for now.  LOL!

Supplies:
Stamps:  Fresh Cuts
Ink:  Kiwi Kiss
Cardstock:  Summer Sun, Pacific Point, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White, Good Morning Sunshine DSP
Accessories:  Pacific Point grosgrain ribbon, Kiwi Kiss cordoroy buttons / brads, scallop circle punch, white gel pen, 1-3/8" and 1-1/4" and 1" circle punches, 1-1/4" square punch

To make the "quilting", I simply punched 20 squares using the 1-1/4" square punch out of the designer paper and adhered them with some mono to a piece of cardstock (I just used Whisper White, but you don't see the cardstock).  I then (should have) centered the Top Note die and ran it through the Big Shot.  You want to make sure that the four corners of the squares have adhesive on them so they adhere nicely and the corners don't lift.  Then take your cut Top Note and layer / decorate as usual.

Pop on over to the Diva Coffee Break Designs blog and see what the other Diva Design Team members have created with their Big Shots!  While you are at it, why don't you play along?  Come on....you know you want to!  You can simply upload your creation using Mr. Linky directly onto the blog.

Don't forget, the last chance list is out and there isn't much time to purchase any sets you have been wanting that are on the retiring list!  Accessories too.  Once the accessories are gone, they are gone for good.  Some items are sold out already so don't delay!  Call or email me  (stampinsteph72858@gmail.com) today to place your order or click on the "shop now" button to place your order online 24/7!
