I had this cute little glass jar and clothespin laying around. I tend to buy things like these with very good intentions, but don't always get around to completing my altered "project". However, in my search for my stamping mojo, I decided to be brave and grabbed some paper scraps. Naturally they were floral! Now I feel compelled to at least do a jar in the current holiday theme so I will grab another on my next Hobby Lobby trip. They were definitely quick little projects. The jar can be filled with candy, peppermints for Christmas, bath beads... tons of possibilities to make a quick and inexpensive gift for a teacher or a coach as the jar was only $0.99. Can you guess what my daughter's gymanstic coach will be receiving come holiday time...? Thanks for stopping by!

Spooky Spider

Look at this adorable spider! He is more cute than spooky. I came across him on Barbara Welch's site. She had a peppermint patty in between the two scalloped pieces. How clever! I decided to have our co-op group do this spider tomorrow. It should be relatively easy to prepare since all I have to do is punch.

Supplies: Punches used are the scallop circle, photo corner, 1/2" circle, 1/4" circle. Colors of cardstock are Basic Black, Tangerine, Real Red and Whisper White.

It was my grandson's 3rd birthday on Friday and we went to see him Saturday night. An excuse to make a card! Unfortunately, my mojo has been missing for the last couple of weeks. I really enjoyed making this card, though, so maybe it is coming back. The base of this card is Bashful Blue with layers of Real Red, Barely Banana, Whisper White and Washington Apple Designer Paper. The dinosaur is from Prehistoric Pals (stamped in Bashful Blue) and the sentiment from Curvy Verses (stamped in Pumpkin Pie). The grosgrain ribbon is Pumpkin Pie as well. My Stamp-a-majig gets lots of use and I used it again here to separate the sentiment. The dinosaur and its layers were adhered with dimensionals to make it "pop".

Thanks for looking. Enjoy the remainder of your weekend!
