Creative Ribbon

Our challenge this week over at Late Night Stampers Group is to show some creative uses for ribbon. I use a lot of ribbon on my cards. They just seem to look naked without some ribbon dressing it up. As for "creativity", though, that is another story and definitely out of my comfort zone. But, I gave it a whirl. My original intention was to create a scrapbook page with a few more flowers on it, but time just got away from me - as usual - and so I ended up with just a card.
Supplies~
Stamps: Heard from the Heart
Ink: Old Olive
Cardstock: Crushed Curry, Old Olive, Whisper White
Accessories: Old Olive 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, Crushed Curry polka dotted grosgrain ribbon, Filigree brads, rhinestone brads, paper piercer

The petals of the flower are made of six separate pieces of ribbon, simply folded and adhered together with sticky tape. The stem and leaves are more obvious, made of three pieces of the Old Olive ribbon.

I would love to see what creative things you can come up with using ribbon!

Stephanie, your creativity ROCKS! I love this flower idea, and can especially see your vision of having it on a scrapbook page, maybe several of them (depending on how tricky they are of course!). Awesome, thansk for sharing!
