LNS Color Challenge

Boo!

We are still working with the same sketch this week over at Late Night Stampers Group this week. Nice and simple, just the way I like them!

I don’t normally make Halloween cards, but this one was fun to make. My sentiment is from the Level I Hostess set, Holiday Best and the little ghost is from Little Boo, on the $10 and under page of the catalog. When I got him in my order this week, I just knew he was going on that square! LOL! Both pieces of designer paper come from the Cast-A-Spell DSP.

DIVA Sketch 149

Good Morning! The Divas have put out a sketch to create with this week. I love to start out with a sketch, especially when I can easily see what stamp set I want to use with the sketch. I knew that one of the few tall, thin images I had was the balloon from Crazy for Cupcakes, and so, out it came! Naturally, I didn't want to leave the inside naked so I stamped the same images inside and used the Blender pen to add some color. The sentiment on the front could easily be changed up to suit a variety of needs.

LNS Sketch

Good Monday afternoon! Over at Late Night Stampers Group this week we have a sketch challenge to work with. It is a relatively basic sketch so it wasn't too difficult to work with. My sizing was aproblem, however, because the images I wanted to use did not fit on the standard sized card. So, this morning's card is a 6x6 card. No big deal. I just pulled out some more paper.

I love how this card came out! It was inspired by another demo, but I just thought it was so elegant looking so I had to try it. The designer series paper is from the Holiday Mini and is call Christmas Cocoa Specialty paper. This particular piece has some flocking on it. It is just beautiful in person! The swirls come from one of the Sizzlet dies that I ran through the Big Shot, Swirls Scribbles. And, of course, the Top Note die, also run through the Big Shot three times. The Merry Christmas sentiment is from the Level I hostess set, Holiday Best. I think the white organza ribbon just gives it such an elegant and soft touch.
