Updated Retiring Accessories List

The retiring accessories list has been updated again. Please click here for the updated list.

This card was made using the retired, but well-loved, Button Bear set. Button Bear was actually the first stamp set I purchased way back when, 9 years ago. It is so versatile and great for a child's birthday card, which is exactly what I used it for tonight. We went to a birthday party and this is the card I made...The card stock used was a base of Wild Wasabi with a layer of Ballet Blue and Whisper White. Watercolor pencils and a Blender Pen were used to color the images. Thanks for taking the time to look. I am off to prepare some more for Monday's LeJardin Card Set class. Looking forward to seeing you there!

The retiring accessories list has been updated. You can access it here. Place your order before they are gone!

Good Morning! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend. I made this card after seeing this card on Becky C.'s blog. I love the elegant floral look and tweeked it a bit. The inside has a layer of vanilla as well and another cut out flower in the corner. I masked the front flowers as I was stamping and cut them out as one piece.
Supplies:
Stamps: Embrace Life
Ink: Basic Black
Paper: Basic Black, Real Red, Vanilla, Porcelain Prints Designer Paper
Accessories: Black Gingham Ribbon, Black Brads, Coluzzle
Thanks for looking. Happy Stamping!

Another Case...

Cindy Lawrence has such a wonderful and creative blog. You can check it out here. I love her cards and chose this one to CASE. It looks like a "happy card" and was fun to make. The inside is stamped as well with the Bud Basics images. You can see Cindy's original here.
Supplies:
Stamps: Bud Basics, the sentiment was from a retired birthday set - the name of which escapes me at the moment :(
Ink: Black Stazon
Paper: Whisper White, Basic Black, So Saffron, Ballet Blue
Accessories: Blender Pen, Watercolor Crayons, Black Gingham Ribbon, Black Brads, Dimensionals
Have a wonderful day!

Here are a few more older pages I thought you might like to see....

They're Back!

My SU! scrapbook pages are back! I sat down looking through them, so many memories... This is the first scrapbook page I ever made. I remember I was so proud at my accomplishment - though I am sure I copied the layout - LOL! My first scrapbook was 8-1/2 x 11 and Caroline was just a baby so this was over 8 years ago! I am going to see if I can convert it into a 12 x 12 page. I will post it if I do.
Thanks for looking!

I saw this cute card on Stampers' Showcase on 7/21, submitted by Dorothy Churchill - her card used True Friend and was much cuter with that set, but I did not have that set and so had to improvise with One of a Kind. It was used for the Make-N-Take.
Supplies:
Stamps: One of a Kind
Paper: River Rock, Porcelain Prints Designer Paper, So Saffron, Blue Bayou
Ink: Blue Bayou
Accessories: Blue Bayou Double Stitched Ribbon, Scallop Punch, Circle Punch, Fresh Favorite II Button Assortment, Dimensionals
Don't forget to check out the updated retiring accessories list. Some items have already sold out. Let me know ASAP if there is anything you would like to order. Once it is gone, it is gone!
Have a great day.

Good Morning! I had a workshop last Monday and this card was one that I chose to demo for an outline stamp. It was pretty quick and easy, colored in with markers. I apologize for the shadow on the image...The base of the card is Almost Artichoke, then layered with Pomegranate, Mellow Moss (with leaf / branch images on the Mellow Moss - stamped with same color). The main images were stamped using Black Stazon ink and colored with Pretty in Pink, Rose Red and Mellow Moss markers. The sentiment is stamped with Pomegranate ink and Artichoke and Pomegranate card stock were used to layer again. The stamp set used is Embrace Life.

For some reason, Blogger is being tempermental and not allowing me to upload another card that I demoed at the workshop. So, I will attempt to come back in a little while and try again.

Thanks for stopping by....

My daughter gave me a WONDERFUL foot rub and pedicure tonight while I stamped this card, which is based on a card Wanda P. posted on her blog a few days ago. The background images are kind of hard to see as they are stamped off to make them light. Hope you all had a wonderful day!

Supplies:
Stamps: The flower images are from Heartfelt Thanks and the sentiment from Fresh Cuts
Inks: Basic Black, Soft Sky, Almost Artichoke
Paper: Soft Sky, Pretty in Pink, Basic Black, Whisper White
Accessories: Rhinestone Brad, Pink Gingham Ribbon, Small and Large Oval Punches
