Happy Halloween to you all! Another special Halloween treat! Who wouldn't want to receive this goodie? Little Hershey Nuggets wrapped in some designer series paper - all decorated for the holiday! Add a tag and some gorgeous Stampin' Up! ribbon and you are set to go! The tin holds 12 Nuggets. The strips of DSP are 3" x 1" and are adhered with just a little piece of Sticky Strip. Easy Peasy! I made these for some special Christmas gifts, but thought it would make a cute Halloween gift too for a grandchild or special little someone.

My kids think I have lost a marble or two, watching me get so excited over these bears - or any Stampin' Up! products in general. They just don't understand. Oh well. My two little bears got to embellish some little candy bags - a special treat for the little ones when they least expect it. The bag itself is made from a piece of 6-1/2" x 12" piece of cardstock, scored at 1-1/4" length-wise and 5-1/4" width-wise. After inserting the end of the ribbon through the holes on the side, I placed either Chocolate Chip corduroy brads to hold it in place or the brown 5/8" brads. The corduroy ones are a little bit more top heavy and so a glue dot would be needed to hold them in place. These little boxes could be decorated with designer paper or any type of
Sizzix die or even stamps / wheels. They are quite versatile as far as changing theme / occasion. Supplies~

I am a bad Diva as I did not get to this week's Diva challenge. Life was just too crazy this week and I kept thinking I was going to be able to get to it, but it just never happened. Build A Bear

As we have mentioned before, Stampin' Up! has partnered with Build-A-Bear Workshop to bring you an exciting collection of BAB stamp sets and Sizzix dies. I have only just begun playing with mine and I can't tell you how much fun I am having! My little bears received Halloween costumes this morning. Our Late Night Stampers Group challenge this week is to pull our colors from our favorite candy wrappers. There is candy, candy, candy EVERYWHERE this time of year! My all-time favorite, I think - it is pretty hard to chose when you are a candy lover!, is a Resses Peanutbutter Cup. So, I went with Basic Black and Pumpkin Pie as my two main colors for today's card. I used the Sweet Treats cups and put a little something special in there. These treat cups fit perfectly with images from the Sweet Centers stamp set. Fun to make and fun to receive!

I don’t normally make Halloween cards, but this one was fun to make. My sentiment is from the Level I Hostess set, Holiday Best and the little ghost is from Little Boo, on the $10 and under page of the catalog. When I got him in my order this week, I just knew he was going on that square! LOL! Both pieces of designer paper come from the Cast-A-Spell DSP.

LNS Sketch

Good Monday afternoon! Over at Late Night Stampers Group this week we have a sketch challenge to work with. It is a relatively basic sketch so it wasn't too difficult to work with. My sizing was aproblem, however, because the images I wanted to use did not fit on the standard sized card. So, this morning's card is a 6x6 card. No big deal. I just pulled out some more paper.

I love how this card came out! It was inspired by another demo, but I just thought it was so elegant looking so I had to try it. The designer series paper is from the Holiday Mini and is call Christmas Cocoa Specialty paper. This particular piece has some flocking on it. It is just beautiful in person! The swirls come from one of the Sizzlet dies that I ran through the Big Shot, Swirls Scribbles. And, of course, the Top Note die, also run through the Big Shot three times. The Merry Christmas sentiment is from the Level I hostess set, Holiday Best. I think the white organza ribbon just gives it such an elegant and soft touch.
