I love the new Cottage Wall designer series paper. These colors and patterns are so me! Today's card follows a challenge to "Get Punchy!" and use our Stampin' Up! punches. This challenge was issued by the Late Night Stampers Group design team. I have lots of ideas, but just have had a crazy week and have not had a chance to sit down and create yet. I do use our punches a lot, though, and I love to create animals / themes with our punches too.

Supplies:
Stamps: One of a Kind
Ink: Jet Black StazOn
Cardstock: Mellow Moss, Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White, Cottage Wall DSP
Accessories: Silver brads, Rich Razzleberry grosgrain ribbon, Boho Blossoms punch

This card uses the Boho Blossoms punch. There is a stamp in the One of a Kind stamp set that, after stamping, can easily be punches out with this punch too. I love the way our products work together!

I am off to pack (as I write this post). Two of my children and I are leaving on a road trip to visit some relatives on the East Coast in the morning. Keep your fingers crossed that I get up in time! LOL! I will be back with a post on Monday morning. Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!

Diva Color Challenge

Good Morning! The Divas have a color challenge this week. This was a tough color group for me to work with and so I am not real pleased with my card. So, I may try to make another card later today if I have some time. Today my baby turns 6! So, we have a busy day!!

I used the Flower Fancy stamp set and colored it in with some ink and my blender pen on the main image. Be sure that when you use this technique, you stamp your image in Jet Black StazOn first so that the black ink doesn't bleed or run when you go to color it in.

Supplies:
Stamps: Flower Fancy
Ink: Jet Black StazOn, Regal Rose, Rose Red, Sage Shadow
Cardstock: Chocolate Chip, Sage Shadow, Whisper White
Accessories: Regal Rose 5/8" grosgrain ribbon

Take a quick trip over to the Diva Coffee Break Designs blog and see what the other design team members have come up with for your inspiration with this color challenge. You won't be disappointed. Then, play along with us! You can simply upload your creation using Mr. Linky and we will get to see your creation and leave you some loving comments!

Medallion

Jenn Dierks offered complete inspiration for this card. I needed an anniversary card too, so it was perfect timing! LOL! Very simple and quick! the Medallion image is stamped in Soft Suede onto Very Vanilla. A half-pearl from the Pretties Kit was adhered with a glue dot to the middle of the Medallion. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny wishes and punched out with the Modern Label punch. Loving that punch!!

Supplies:
Stamps: Medallion, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Soft Sueded, edges sponged with Dusty Durango
Cardstock: Vanilla, Soft Suede, Dusty Durango
Accessories: Modern Label Punch, Pretties Kit, Dusty Durango grosgrain ribbon, dimensionals

Accessories: Big Shot, Snowflake #2, Real Red 5/8" grosgrain ribbon, Antique Brads, Blender Pen, Burgundy watercolor crayon

My daughter wanted one of her sketch pads covered so I played with it while she swam. I simply unraveled the coil and recovered the existing cover with a sheet of Basic Black. All layers were adhered with Sticky Strip so I didn't have to worry about them loosening. Next came a layer of Old Olive and finally a layer of Cast-A-Spell double-sided Designer Series Paper. The main skull image is from the Just Jawing stamp set. This was stamped on Whisper White with Jet Black Stazon and layered on Old Olive as well as Basic Black. The same with the "you rock" wording. Two layers of ribbon were adhered to a strip of Basic Black cardstock with Sticky Tape as well ~ 5/8" Old Olive grosgrain and 1/4" Basic Black grosgrain. I then repunched the holes and inserted the coil again. A quick and easy way to personalize a notebook!

Supplies:
Stamps: Just Jawing
Ink: Jet Black Stazon
Cardstock: Basic Black, Old Olive, Cast-A-Spell DSP, Whisper White
Accessories: Basic Black grosgrain ribbon, Old Olive grosgrain ribbon

Our Late Night Stampers challenge this week is to CASE a card from the catalog and make it a kid's card - making sure we changed 2 things in our version of the CASE. I started out attempting to case the card on the bottom of page 72, but it didn't go well and I ended up changing it altogether. Oh well. Sometimes it just doesn't go as planned. So, I changed the colors, the stamps and the layout. It WAS a springboard for inspiration, though, and I am happy with how it came out.

Supplies:
Stamps: Animal Stories
Ink: So Saffron, Chocolate Chip
Cardstock: Tall Tales DSP, Melon Mambo, So Saffron,
Whisper White
Accessories: Chocolate Chip 5/8" grosgrain ribbon, dimensionals

This will make a cute little girl's birthday card. Thanks for checking it out!

Good Morning! I have been working on some baby shower favors for a shower my sister is giving a friend. These use the scallop bag die with the Big Shot and a dear friend helped me put them together.

Unfortunately, the printed papers were not purchased through Stampin' Up! but all of
the supplies used are SU! the bootie image comes from A New Little Someone stamp set from 2003, which is now
retired. They were stamped in Jet Black Stazon, cut out and then colored with SU!'s chalks and a Q-Tip.

Once the die is run through the Big Shot and cut, there are 3 pieces: the main piece and 2 side pieces. These are held together with Sticky Strip.
Supplies:
Stamps: A New Little Someone (retired), Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Jet Black Stazon, Regal Rose
Cardstock: Whisper White, non-SU! printed paper
Accessories: Modern Label punch, Pretty in Pink brads, scallop circle punch, dimensionals
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day.

I am in a CASing mood again. This time, I took the layout from Sandi MacIver. I wasn't sure if I was going to like how this one came out - lots of yellow in there....but I am pleased with the end result. I did, again, use the Perfect Detals Texturz Plate and Big Shot to get the embossed "lattice" affect. The butterflies are simply punched with the butterfly punch out of the Razzleberry Lemonade DSP. They each have a silver brad in the middle with some natural hemp wrapped around it.

Supplies:
Stamps: Fresh Cuts
Ink: Rich Razzleberry
Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry, Razzleberry Lemonade DSP
Accessories: Large oval punch, Modern Label punch, Butterfly punch, Crushed Curry grosgrain ribbon, Eyelet edge punch, silver brads, natural hemp, Perfect Details Texturz Plate, Big Shot

Cardstock: Whisper White, Bashful Blue, Bashful blue DSP

Monochromatic Card

Our challenge this week for Late Night Stampers Group is to make a monochromatic card ~ varying shades of just one color, mixed with a neutral such as white or vanilla or kraft cardstock. This type of card is hard for me because I keep thinking I need to add something else. But, I tried to keep it simple and this is what I came up with.

Supplies:
Stamps: Medallion, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Rich Razzleberry
Cardstock: Whisper White, Rich Razzleberry, Razzleberry Lemonade
Accessories: Modern Label punch, Rich Razzleberry polkadotted grosgrain ribbon

I do not yet have the good fortune to own the Movers and Shapers Big Shot die to make a Modern Label background punchout.
So, I simply punched the Modern Label in Rich Razzleberry and cut it in half, mounting the Whisper White punch so that just a little bit of the Razzleberry hung out behind the White on each end. I hope that makes sense. And, of course, I tried to carry the same theme on the inside of the card.

The inside greeting came from Many Merry Messages - which I received FREE from Stampin' Up! Yeah! I LOVE free stamps!
